Laser Swiss
NLE offers combination laser cutting and Swiss machining of tubular components. This process has several advantages, including:
- Elimination of secondary operations by allowing for laser cut features and machining features (counterbores, diameter reductions, grooves, etc) to be performed in the same operation.
- Increased design flexibility by allowing for complex cut-outs, end tabs, spiral cuts, etc that would be difficult to reproduce by other means
- Reduced cost from increased efficiency and combined operations
